5 Jan: #1 Team Building Challenge - Debrief (I) Class Reflection

Making reference to the 3 activities you participated this morning:

  • Scavenger Hunt
  • The Longest Line
  • All On Board

As a class, discuss...

  • What strengths you have observed in the class during the teambuilding activity?
  • How are these strengths important in helping your class to succeed?
  • What other “ingredients” do you think is needed for a class to succeed as an effective team?
  • How can the class apply these “ingredients” in its daily work?Which school value best fits that the team is trying to do?

Appoint one recorder who will take notes and post the collective responses in the blog (under Comments).

  2. For the Activity All on Board, we felt that more contribution could have been made and our class cheer was too monotonous. As most of us played Scavenger Hunt before, things get done faster and easier. Last but not least, we S1-04 form the LONGEST LINE in the Activity The Longest Line. Everybody contributed items and effort to form the line.

    We S1-04 understand that cooperation, contribution and communication make a better team through all these activities. Roles of the group manager are to give the group member directions and keep the group controlled while the members have to participate and contribute ideas. through all these activities.

    So what are the "ingredients" that we thought is needed for a class to succeed as an effective team…
    - Responsibility
    - Processes
    - Roles
    - Goal

    We have to be responsible to our team, understand the processes, perform our roles and know our goal to be an effective team.
